This section is focused on one of the most powerful tactics for GMB.


If you’ve read any of my work, you know that I’m a huge supporter in engagement.

Now, if anyone tries to tell you that you’re winning all because metrics like “time on site” or “page visits” have increased, I would highly recommend running – not walking – away from them.

In digital marketing the only metrics that matter are focused on dollars.

Metrics like:

  • Total Revenue
  • Revenue Per Lead
  • Average Order Value
  • Lifetime Customer Value

(The actual metrics will differ based on the marketing channels used and your business model.)

This may seem off topic – as we’re here to talk about increasing engagement on your GMB listing.

It’s not.

As this report focuses on effectively boosting the engagement of your Google My Business (GMB) listing, I don’t want you to lose focus on what matters to your business.

Bottom line: 
We are going to be increasing engagement for your listing – but its so you can get more of what matters (revenue).

‍I‘ve used this strategy as a force multiplier for the GMB listings that I’m in charge of.

Many of these listings are for businesses that I now consider my friends and have worked with for years (some over 12 years),  so I’m personally invested in their success.

While all things are equal in GMB, this is the key DIFFERENTIATER in boosting engagement and improving ranking of your listing. Iv’e seen great results with this strategy and so will you!
